Humble brag…
At his licensing, Max earned an 8 for type, praised for his pretty face and correct German Riding Pony type, and an 8 for free jumping, noting his cleverness and style.
His walk shows a generous overstep, his canter is balanced and uphill, and his trot is nicely elevated with an active hind end. Combining strong sport pony genetics and a kind, willing temperament, Max is an invaluable addition to the breeding of Welsh sport ponies, German Riding Ponies, and quality sport crossbreds.
Max’s 2026 show season started with a successful run at WEC Ocala, where he competed in the low level jumpers, jumping four clean rounds that resulted in four ribbons.
Warmblood & Pony Foals
Highly-Proven German Bloodlines
The Welcome Farm produces versatile Warmblood and sport pony foals suited for a variety of disciplines. We prioritize amateur-friendly temperaments, rideability, beauty, and outstanding character—backed by some of the best German (of course!) bloodlines in the industry.
“I was starting my journey of adding a second horse to the family and it made sense to purchase a foal from someone I knew. It was my first time buying a horse that young, and Katharina made the process was clear and smooth. The filly boarded at The Welcome Farm for several months after purchase, and I received regular photos and updates. She also made sure the filly was well prepared for transport when it was time to come home!”
